Singapore Airlines rolled out a major upgrade Monday on their Singapore-Frankfurt-New York JFK service, shedding the previously used Boeing 747-400 for the larger Airbus A380 super jumbo aircraft.
“Aesthetically it’s no 747, but it’s a handsome plane,” I wrote of the 787 previously in a column. “Confident in a way not unlike its older and smaller sibling, the 757.”
