Construction Photos: Delta’s New JFK Terminal 4 Extension

  • Several cameras will keep a watchful eye on each of the 12 lanes of T4's new centralized security checkpoint.
  • Anyone in the mood for spaghetti?
  • The two easternmost rows of check-in desks will be used by Delta exclusively.
  • A Delta 767 parked at what is currently T4 West's southernmost gate. The West concourse will have nine additional gates when the expansion project is completed.
  • An Emirates Boeing 777-300ER taxis away from T4 and past a TAM Airbus A330 enroute to Dubai.

  • Terminal 4 Delta Sky Club will measure 24,000 square feet, making it the largest in the Delta network and one of the largest of any airline at JFK.
  • An escalator will deliver Sky Club guests to the main entrance.
  • A plane is seen taking off from Runway 31L.
