Boeing's new Phantom Ray unmanned aircraft took to the air for the first time on Monday, with some help from one of NASA's 747 Space Shuttle Carrier Aircraft.
In a statement published by the FAA late Tuesday afternoon, the agency's Administrator Randy Babbitt announced his resignation. Babbitt had been arrested for drunk driving over the weekend.
