    Qatar to Launch Doha-Athens-New York in June 2013

    According to a news conference held yesterday in Athens by Qatar CEO Al-Akbar, Qatar Airways plans to open daily flights between Athens and New York starting in June 2013. Flights are expected to be operated by the 787 or A380. It is not yet known as to which NYC airport the route will fly to, though JFK is presumed since they currently have an operation there.

    Well, it can;t be LGA, I assume and I do NOT consider EWR to be a NYC Airport as it is CLEARLY in NJ. I don;t care what the airlines or travel agencies think. They can call it whatever they want but I am tired of calling EWR a NYC airport! ugh ....
