    HAs there ever been an aviation accident with plane having a special paint job?

    Taipei was Tropical Megatop. The other one was repainted very soon after.

    This TAM F-100 crashed in Brazil in 1996 when a thrust reverser deployed right after take off causing loss of control killing all 96 onboard and 3 on the ground, was in an Air Transport World Special Scheme.

    I remember shooting both SQ special color 747's at EWR, 9V-SPK is featured here, sorry for the poor quality scanned slide.
