As a friend of mine says about the economy Sky Interior... "All the frills in the world don't make up for no legroom on a 14 hour flight."
Way to stay behind the rest of the world when it comes to international flying, AA! I'm actually embarrassed by it.
Email me anytime at [email protected].
Phil, AA is smart in knowing that Americans are already used to domestic cramped seats and do not expect anything more![]()

BRING BACK THE KJFK/KLGA OBSERVATION DECKS
They haven't said yet what the seat pitch is going to be, but the 32in on the 772's is equal to most airlines' international products, i.e. Air France, British Airways.
The 773s will include AA's first premium economy in the front of the main cabin...same seats and width, but more legroom.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
Phil, manny took the words out of my head( manny r u professor X?). seriously though, Manny is dead on. American knows that most US flyers are used to crap. And therefore they will continue to feed it to us. If you get more US flyers to fly economy on British qantas, or virgin for that matter, then they get used to what's better and perhaps they would demand more.
Matt mentioned AA finally Putin premium economy. And its piss poor compared to British airways prem Econ which I last flew 9 years ago.
Shameful. Sad.
That said, are these 777s all slated to soon fly dfw-Sao? If so , I may have found a new opportunity to burn miles. J or f run !!
