Early Morning Spotting, KHOU - 6 Jan 2012

I had some extra time this morning at work, so I thought I'd do some shooting. I managed to grab a few keepers.

#1 engine roaring to life after an air start at the gate.


Performing final engine checks after the air start.


Symmetry - As seen in the next image, the engine is painted with the bottom of the shield for this effect when standing at a 90 degree angle to the plane.


Illinois One ready to taxi with nice condensation on the fuselage.
