    That’s one lucky pilot!
If you’ve ever wondered how they get those small planes to such remote locations, you might like this book:
SO YOU WANT TO BE A FERRY PILOT by Spike Nasmyth
This is a book of true short stories about delivering airplanes from one part of the world to another. If you're a weekend flyer or a professional pilot or you just like airplanes, you'll be amazed at the exploits described in these stories. You'll be right there with the ferry pilots as they battle in-flight emergencies, Mother Nature's worst, the loss of navigation aids, interception by foreign aircraft and Murphy's Law.

This was my first E-Book, and I found it so interesting, I finished it in only two nights.
Since I got my I-Pad for Fathers Day, my son bugged me that I should use it for more than just going on the NYCA website. The thought of reading a book on an electronic reader made me cringe. Besides, I thought I owned and read every aviation book there was (my favorites are Airline and AirplaneHistories and Biographies).
While searching “aviation books” on Amazon.com, I found this title and 5 others that I have since downloaded. This makes my wife happy that I don’t have anymore “damn airplane books” cluttering up the house.
    Thank You Steve Jobs (R.I.P)

Awesome USCG video of the landing:
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
