    JFK 11/08/2010 Emirates A380 Returns

As mentioned on other threads, Emirates A380 just landed at JFK on RWY 31L on a very cold and windy day.

Mark and I and we believe Eric were at Inwood for the landing.

Very Nice shots eric as always, top quality, especially for such a cold day ... We'll met up next time. I got a shot of you freezing... what were you thinking in that little jacket? I was prepared for gale force winds, and we had them LOL.

Well.........I finally was able to defrost from the harsh winds! Caught up with Manny, and we think we recongized Eric off in the distance (needed my glasses). The lighting was less then suitable but made the best of the situation. Here is may stuff..........sorry for any shoots that look similar. Wish it were spring already.

Love the gate shot. By the time I got there, it looked like this:

Also the APU on the Air India 777 to the immediate right and closer to me was at full tilt and every shot was ruined. heat distortion all over.

Singapore air was a but less busy I guess prepared for takeoff.

and another one of the landing just about to hide behind the trees. Too bad you can;t be in two places at once. I now have to get the shot of it crossing the tower from Bayswater and match it to my Airfrance one
