The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

Oh man, glad to hear he is okay, but wow, that sucks!

Looks like it happened during a low-slow pass, when an aircraft is most vulnerable.

From what I understand, Boozer was recently released from the hospital.

Wow this is the first plane I ever took a picture of that crashed. I remember waiting for this bug come to FRG on airshow week sweating my arse off and I remember standing at the AAM with my fellow NYCA members watching this bug leave.

This is very sad but I'm happy the pilot is okay.

Here are some pics I have more but I'm not at home and I didn't upload them to my server yet.

    Just landed at FRG:

Some great photos on MSNBC's photoblog:

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

After watching the video it looks like he was doing a high alpha pass.....probably the worst time to lose an engine.

I am a little disappointed though - I figured surely Fred would have found a way to get photos of this himself.

Boozer and Billy (Billy flew the demo in 2008)

And this is my all-time favorite video I've shot of a CF-18...

A shame about the plane, but so glad the pilot escaped any major injuries! Anyone else hear what song was playing during the practice flight?
