We talked about this when this video first came out. Does it really work as well as the video shows?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Yes Matt - it does - I have played with removing bushes from pictures, I've removed cones from around planes - it really does work pretty well -will have to try and edit something and submit it to see if it gets through screening (Tom - don't read this :borat:)

I was excited about this when I first saw the video, but don't expect any miracles from it. I tried to use it to remove a simple pink flare cast over a pant leg, and it failed miserably. I eventually just used the techniques in this video: http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to-remov ... hop-16530/ and ended up with near-perfect results. The sample image used was obviously carefully hand-picked to produce the best possible results (cloudless sky, repetitive grass). Adobe products have 30 day free trials, so you can give it a shot and see if it works for you.

Like any other application, you need to understand what its good points and bad points are. I feel it worked great. Everything said it this thread is true. It works but it is not perfect, Like anything else you need to know when to use the application and the software is doing what IT feels it needs to so it will never be spot on 100% of the time. I think it is jaw dropping good.

    I took this and masked

Filled and got this with NO touchup

    one more

it is not perfect, if you have a lot of similar areas to work with like sky and grass it is great. lots of applications will not work well, but when it does it is like magic
