A nice day trip to Nellis yesterday with my 100-400MM in hand led for a great time this time down there!

It must be awesome to watch those raptors take off and land - how low were they when you got those shots?

is this a daily occurrence, or was this a "special" time (ie, show prep, or something)?

Also, for being an AFB, these are amazing shots, I am surprised you didnt get bothered by MP's or something.

The Raptors are sweet! They were on taking off but not more then 500 fett over head.

And this is a daily thing at the base. Nellis is one of the few spotter friendly AFB's. They post on there site when they are having events such as Red Flag next month. I will be back down for that!

Nice pictures! Just a hint...most of the F-22 registrations have a 4 in it... your 07-0136 should be 07-4136 and 99-0011 should be 99-4011.

can you spot on Nellis without any problems ?? maybe you can make a little guide ?? Im gonna be there in November for T-birds homecoming air show and planning to stay up to 10 days to see KLAS and spot a little :P
