And I, I took the path less traveled by

I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Nice titles layout but what is that garbage on the tail? I suppose an "S"
Another airline livery thrown onto obscurity.

Looks good to me. I like the black at the end of the fuselage.

 PHOTO: Southern Air Unveils New Paint Scheme
Cargo charter airline Southern Air introduced a new paint scheme on one of their Boeing 747-300s, which was caught at Miami International Airport by Luimer Cordero.

Well, it's something new to shoot once and never give a **** about again.
I'd like to catch this puppy one day.
It will look sharp on the 777's they are getting. I like it. And I like it even more on the 743

It came in last night at 2:20am into JFK...parked over at KAL Cargo. I didn't bother to risk a suicide shot of it. It wasn't worth the risk with all the ground crew close to the fence.

I like that scheme. I also like the fact that its on one of my fav old Polar Air a/c. N354MC. Been trying to get that a/c since I found out SA had it. Sadly havent seen it at JFK but now it wil be easier to find :borat:
Someone else called it a sneaker before. I guess I can see it now. Kinda looks like a New Balance with Pratts but I like it still.

Funny. 743's never had pratts on them. that isnt a 300.
Hmm........... I'm just going to sigh.... Actually, no I cannot hold back anymore. WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR INFORMATION!? This is a 747-300. Look at the photo! 743's were defineately made with Pratt's. I can think of at least two flagship carriers in the world who in fact flew them with Pratts. Swissair, Korean and just for ****s and giggiles South African. Varig flew the 743 with the CF6 and a small number of others. Most carriers actually opted for the JT8 to maintain commonality. Please check facts prior to makeing baseless statements, assumptions and judgements.

I have shot this frame several times over the years (cn 24194). Starting with the
Korean Air Cargo HL7470 (the KAL 300s came back in for an extremely short time into JFK)
Nlovis the reg you refer to N354MC is cn 23394 a different one. It flew for Atlas Air.

Korean Air Cargo HL7470
Cargo 360 N301JD
Southern Air N749SA (basic GGC colors)
The one you speak of- cn 23394
It flew for Polar/Atlas in basic Varig colors
