Will be headed back home for a short while, and the only free time I have will be early Saturday morning (8-12ish).
Weather looks good, and JetBlue's 10th anniversary plane is next on my list.
Hopefully I'll see some others out there.

Started out as a very quiet day. 4R and 4L were in use when I got there. A couple jets used 31L for t/o. Also, a Korean Air 777 landed 4L. The wind was 350 at 11. Later on, they switched both arrivals and departures to 31L, advising that 31R was closed. B-KPF was scheduled to arrive at 12:10. It was around 12:00 when I decided to check the ATIS again. I'm glad I did, because at that point they had reopened 31R. I rushed to reposition.
Barely a minute after I got to Firestone, an Nassau County Police cruiser pulled up. The window rolled down, and then, "Hey! I know you!". It was the same officer that was in the group that searched my car a month back. We chatted for a brief second. Less than two minutes after he arrived, he was gone.
Right as he left, B-KPF turned on to final.
Just realized today that the sign at Bayswater has bullet holes in it. I don't know if they're new, or if I just never noticed.
Queue for 4L with 31L departure.
The gem of the day.

Yes, that loud angy bird which flys without flapping it's wings in defiance of nature by using spinning contraptions to burn a fluid called "jet fuel" and create loud noises that could harken the dead to rise at a close enough range. The one we call 764 says Delta on it's side and has oddly shaped tail feathers. One of which has a shade of blue and two shades of red brazened upon it. It is quite a grand looking creature. I continue to look in wonderment over these strang creatures. Regardless of breed it appears that they all seem to nest in the same concentrated locations and are born of 4 locations ranging from Canada, France, Seattle, Washington and Brazil. How peculiar. Okay.... smartass Ryan is going away now.
I was referring to the Delta bird in the OP's pictures.:twisted:
