I just saw this (I'm trying to get out to try and catch it), but any reason this would be at 10,000'? Pressure issues?

9226 is a ferry flight number, could be a mx ferry. 10K means most likely pressurization problems.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
A/C went tech in SJU yesterday and kind of an odd MTC ferry, to FLL today then FLL-CLT tommorow. Mark if you want to shoot it showing a 1300 lcl departure from FLL on Jan 1st.

Get me the ship number. I will find out exactly what the tech problem was.

I LOVE US 762s. Great shot, Mark!!!
And do please be careful of airline-sensitive info that you post on the site. As an airline employee myself, I try to keep even very interesting and geek-useful info private that may be sacrificing to my company.

The cause for the MX ferry was a cronic issue with a very stong odor being emitted in the cabin/flight deck when power is pulled to the idle position in flight. The smell resembles "wet socks". She is expected to be back in service today.
