    Islip (ISP) moves into 2002

Perhaps the last airport in the nation ISP finally has WiFi throughout the airport.

Please note the Newsday photo fail....

The Town of Islip has touted this as a success and upgrade to the services offered at ISP. It’s more of an embarrassment that it took this long to install WiFi. Overall I have to say ISP out of all the airports I've flown in and out of is the biggest joke in the air service industry. Even Moline, I.L has more service in and out. Congrats ISP on moving into the year 2002...

LOL, TSA had WiFi at ISP before the airport, though it is a closed secure system.

I believe there is WiFi on the GA side for a long time. CEDX and Boingo show at 90 Arrival Ave.

    From the article:
Cablevision's Optimum Online customers have unlimited access to the system; non-customers can access it for up to one hour before the service times out, town and Cablevision officials said.

I find it funny how the article is about ISP, but the picture is of LGA.
