Went down to BWI to take a stab in the dark on the Falcons jet. I figured with 13 or so well-lit AirTran 717 arrivals, and 86 total in the fleet, my chances of getting either the Falcons, AirTranica, or Mark on AirTran were about 50%. The day started off slow, with no special AT or WN planes for a while (besides Silver One, which of course is now in Canyon Blue). Things picked up late, with Mark on AirTran and a few WN specials. Then 2 World DC-10s came in minutes apart, one in the old colors and one in the new. Also of note was a North American 757 and Miami Air 738. Most of these were shot with my trusty 1D Mark III....the World DC-10 and Mesaba CRJ9 with my 7D.
