    Qantas PVG-ANC-JFK Flight?

Just came across an interesting 1x weekly run by Qantas: Shanghai-Anchorage-New York.

Anyone know what's up with that? A repositioning flight maybe?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

    I believe that's a cargo flight.
It's hard to take chances but sometimes it's better if you do

Its either an Atlas or Polar flight for QF. Like when World operates LH cargo flights the plane gets an LH flight number and LH Cargo call sign.
