    Paul McCartney Concert

Mel, myself and some others had the chance to go to the Paul McCartney concert last night, and it was pretty good. I was never a huge fan and I didn't know most songs, but the guy puts on a good show and it was nice to witness a little history. My favorite song was Band On the Run.

Otherwise, even though I've been to nearly a dozen Mets games this year, it was the first time that I witnessed LGA using Expressway Visual from there! Wow. The banks are just insane. I will need to bring my 100-400 to future Mets games.

Went to the concert on Friday night and they were departing over Citi Field. Coulnt see anything as by the time they got to the field they were in the overcast. It was an amazing concert. Paul did 2 1/2 straight. He did a lot of Beatle songs,Eagles, and his new group the Fireman. Played tributes to Linda,John and George. Billy Joel showed up and did a song with him. Glad I got to see him perform.

Not sure about Sat night but Friday night there where some nice fireworks I assume at the end of the show, we had a great view from our office in the sky at LGA.

There were fireworks last night as well, but it was not even at the end of the show. They played about 8,000 songs after the encore.

I accidentally saw his Letterman performance outside the Ed Sullivan Theater the other night. I got pretty close, stayed for half a song I never heard of, and went back to my office. The highlight was seeing Paul Schaefer sticking his head out one of the higher-floor windows to take photos of McCartney and the crowd below. :)

Though Im not a fan, like you, I can appreciate a good show and he's been known for that. Glad to hear you had a ball! and you had some nice wx for it too!

Going to see Dave and Boyd at the beach on Weds, just hope the wx holds......

    Now that is a SHOW!
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.
