    JFK 5/6/09

After a busy morning, I found myself free around 3:30, and with some sun poking out, and JFK on 22, I took a run in to The Mounds, hoping I might catch a certain F-1 bird. Met up with Joe and his son. Ended up fighting clouds the rest of the afternoon.

Unfortunately, it was a plain, old Etihad A340, albeit with a smaller F-1 sticker on the aft fuselage:

    This one's for Phil!

Haven't caught this one in a while.

Our disappointment over the Etihad was lessened by the sight of these two:

Almost missed the DAL 767 - it was following a DAL 737 with winglets, and at first glance, we thought it was another one, until Joe realized what it was.

Good stuff Moose! That A346 is nothing to sneeze at!! Gorgeous.

As for NAA, I was talking to that plane just before and after you shot it. Nice!

That is a nice set - great variety and some high-value a/c! And of course well done too.

Very nice shots, Joe, sorry I missed the new CSA colors. Good seeing you guys yesterday - looks like you had a little better light before I got there.
