No idea when or where she'll be flying, but Michelle Obama will be in town to visit the UN and later receive an award in Midtown.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
there is a C-40C parked at LGA.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

That would have explained the armed military inside the Marine Air Terminal Tuesday.

Execeutive 1 Foxtrot landed on 4 around 1340L today, a SAM C-40. For those not aware that is the military call sign when the First Lady (without the President) is on board.
BTW to share a little history way back in 1991 then First Lady Barbara Bush took the only commercial flight in my memory by a first lady while here husband was the President, article below.

At the time it was quite an honor for my company.
Btw it was a 733 with two F-16 escorts, one off each wing.

...but she still felt that a fighter jet escort was necessary. haha"In a gesture aimed at calming public fears..."
As if they didn't secure that plane ridiculously.
Email me anytime at [email protected].
Man they only give her the 737....she's not important enough for the 757? LOL

Tommy, I think it has do with the distance of the mission (in this case short) and the number of staff/press travelling with her. As recently as the last administration I saw multiple departures out of LGA using that call sign and the aircraft was a Gulfstream.Originally Posted by T-Bird76
