    One Fantastic Video

Folks. this is the best 10 mins of airliner video I have seen in a while. Justplanes Video's has re-released their 6 hour LGA/EWR/JFK Double DVD shot between 2000-2004 and added this preview to their you tube selection. I would say 95 pct of the airliners shown do not exist at least in the scheme shown, and have not for a while. It is shot in a variety of weather and is just fantastic. I have no problem at all admitting to all of you the last scene brought a tear to my eye. and don't be afraid to admit if it has the same effect on many of you.

    Enjoy

What a blast from the past. I still remember seeing the likes of Aeromar, Midway, Universal, and others when I was little. Great collection!

Good stuff, I don't remember seeing that TWA/AA hybrid scheme.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

It did not last long and if memory serves me correctly their were not a lot of aircraft painted but I do recall seeing at least one 757.

What many may not realize for about 1 month or so before the merger TWA moved it's LGA operations to AA's D gates. One morning about 10 days before the merger both AA and TWA equipment subbed 763's into LGA arriving at similar times. They where parked side by side and thanks to a very appreciated wake up call from my good friend in the AA Tower I came into work a few hours early and shot slides from both the roof and the ramp. It will be years but someday I hope to get some of my slide collection up on a.net and JP

    Cheers

That brought back some good memories. I remember driving over to the DL terminal at night to get dinner during the "European Rush Hour" and seeing all the different tails over at the IAB. Ghana & Air Afrique...blasts from the past, all they needed was a Biman DC-10 to make that video complete. ;)

Wow...that's a great find Ron - I remember that TWA 752 with the Rams colors - and the old B722 with the Rams colors before it - a great collection on there though. And...the Aer Lingus MD-11 - damn - what a bounce!

Definitely a blast from the past. Beautiful last scene of the Concorde taking off toward the City Skyline. I'm glad that there was a TWA shot. I would have been disappointed otherwise. Great video!
