    Emirates tail strike at MEL

Heard that Emirates had a tail strike, took off and landed after dumping fuel over MEL.

    Good times!
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

True but from what I read, a lot of structural damage.

This isn't just your garden variety "the dog's got constipation and dragging his butt on the ground" tailstrike from what I gather.

I'm reading that the plane has a tough time taking off and took out the localizer and lights at the end of the runway.

Looking at the above photos, which I am seeing for the first time, I must say that my analogy was spot on!
