Been following this guy and I don't envy him.
But his latest quote, IMHO, was hilarious while completely to the point. Popular or not, looks like he realizes the job that needs to get done:
"I don't care how much they think they're driving my poll numbers down and I don't care how many blind people they roll out in wheelchairs I'm gonna cut this budget if it's the last thing I do."
Now, as he is legally blind, any thoughts on his comment?

He's referring to a commercial put out by the nurses union (I think) that featured a blind guy in a wheelchair asking why Paterson was cutting his healthcare funding.
