    Air Canada to close JFK, Move YYC and YVR to EWR

    As per Amadeus timetable update on 29JAN09, Air Canada will be ending its service at New York JFK Airport.

    Starting 01APR09, Daily Vancouver - New York JFK and Calgary - New York JFK route will be transferred to NEWARK airport

    The move marks the carrier's consolidation in New York area, which will be focusing on Newark and La Guardia

    I didn't even realize they still flew to JFK.

    They do. The ground operations are handled by United Airlines I believe.

    Yes, they use Terminal 7 and at the moment are running a late night arrival and early morning departure operation.
