    Virgin America at Orlando-Sanford (SFB)

    Good afternoon:

This Virgin America A320 came to SFB this afternoon. I believe it is wet leased to DirectAir. The aircraft flew from Worcester, MA to SFB. Note the DirectAir logo near the front door.

This was followed about an hour later by a Virgin America A319 flying from Kalamazoo, MI.

I'm sure you all have all the Virgin America photos you want in New York City, but this was a real treat for the Orlando area!

Nice catch. Whereas most carriers don't talk about the aircraft they're using when they lease planes from other operators, DirectAir has actually been promoting the fact that they're using VX planes.

Looks like you can expect to see them a few times a week at SFB...3x weekly to and from Worcester and 2x weekly to and from Kalamazoo.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

They were using these at EWR for a while too but USA Jet recently took over a few times a week with the DC-9 here.
