Aviation gifts you might want for the holidays

If they come in 400 or larger scale, I'd like one of those Gulf 330s or 340s. Preferably in that Formula scheme.

Perhaps an El Al 777, 767 or 747, An El Al widebody in 200 scale

Also, now that AA has its eyes on the 787, that is something to look forward to in the future. :borat:

    Got "wants" for the holidays?
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

    one of these:

    propper nomex flight suit

    and one of these:

    propper winter flyer's jacket

also, if gemini made a 1:400 LOT 787 i'd happily accept one of them.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

I want a real full airworthy Concorde and a TU144 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tupolev_Tu-144 as my gift.

    Trip to SXM!
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Andy and I were just talking about trying to get out to SXM in February timeframe, maybe we can have an nyca outing out there :) Charter a north american 757 if we get enough people?

As far as the gifts go, anything from sporty's will do.

The winter flight jacket isn't too shabby - I've got 2 winter and 2 summer jackets. The winter ones do keep pretty warm - although I don't think I've worn them once since I've been down in Texas!
I've got something like 8 bags though, of which I only alternate wearing 2 of them on a regular basis...
How much do they run if you wanted to buy them on the commercial side?
I'm not so sure I would just wear one around if I wasn't flying/working - they are comfortable, but only to a certain extent!

i don't like the current USAF flight jackets suits.

I prefer the classic USAF A2 leather jacket as even now it looks stylish and smart with anything from a shirt and tie to ware in a Wallstreet office, down to Bermuda shorts and flip flops to be worn on the beach and in any weather from the cold of the south pole up to heat of the Sahara desert.

i have an Avirex leather A2 but that's not something i'd want to wear all the time. besides, it's not all that warm. i used to wear an MA-1 type jacket, also made by avirex but wore that one to bits when i was doing my last type rating. my parents decided to get my the jacket but didn't wait until christmas to show it to me. they were right, it's way too short on me. really sucks being tall sometimes.
