Sitting on the tarmac at DFW for 90 minutes while waiting for Tuesday's storms to pass LGA, the captain of AA740 received this message in the cockpit:
"HERES THE DEAL. BOB REDING IS ON YUR ACFT. MGMT HERE WANT BE (sic) TO REFILE U TO JFK- TO GET U MOVG. THEN DIVERT U TO LGA WHEN U GET CLOSER."
The captain refused.
