    Pocono race arrivals in PA

I was just checking Flightaware for ABE and I noticed N727NK is arriving (sick looking jet by the way), and the Joe Gibbs SAAB 2000. I'll be heading out over the week to AVP and ABE to try and catch most of these arrivals. Anyone know where they park at ABE?

They are testing at Pocono today (Tuesday) and Wednesday. The race isn't until the weekend following this - June 6 - 8. The bulk of the teams park at AVP. I'll likely be in town next Wednesday night, may try to do some spotting there Thursday.

Moose, are you going to AVP or ABE? Either way I'll probably be joining you.

I'll probably be at AVP next Thursday (6/5) before the race weekend. I haven't really spotted there before, so if you know any good spots, I'm all ears.

I haven't either. I was just thinking about asking the FBO if I could walk out on the ramp for a bit. I've had no trouble with it at ABE but I'll call ahead to AVP this afternoon.

At AVP it's hard to see all the aircraft because of the parking location, unless it's changed in the last couple of years.

I was at AVP yesterday, and most of the stuff there is unshootable because of the way they have them parked.

I didn't ask the FBO if I could go out on the ramp, but they have let me do it before. I think they'd let you do it if you asked.

Never got a chance to go catch the arrivals. When do they typically leave? The day after? I want to try to get up there tomorrow if that's when they're leaving.

They leave right after the race. Mass exodus, almost no one stays behind.

Check Flightaware now - you can see them - Gibbs, Roush, and those are the ones that have filed! I expect there is more of a departure line there now than there is at KJFK
