Was discussing this with my AAunt on Weds night, we both called it.
    Time will tell.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

This will be very interesting to see....A AA/CO merger might not make to much sense...DFW and IAH are simply to close to together as is JFK/EWR. US from a logistical stand point looks better on paper but US would drag AA down and tarnish the Silver Bird forever.

Seems that a deal with CO would be some sort of alliance, not a merger, but the talks with US involve an actual merger.

last i heard, from a very reliable source, is that senior managment from 13 worldwide airlines have been secretly meeting in montreal this past week to discuss combining all thier operations. there would be no name for this global conglomerate, just an all-white airplane with the titles: "Pay Us!"

seriously now, i've stopped beliving the media on these. when it actually happens, that's when i'll believe it.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
