    Airbus A320 Freighter Will Fly in 2011, FT Deutschland Says

    April 7 (Bloomberg) -- Airbus SAS is to start flight tests of a cargo version of its A320 jet by the end of 2011, Financial Times Deutschland said, citing Andreas Sperl, chief executive of EFW Elbe Flugzeugwerke Dresden, the unit in charge of the work.

    The passenger plane will be converted to carry freight at a Dresdner based joint-venture between Airbus, EFW, Russia's OAO United Aircraft Corp. and OAO Irkut Corp., the newspaper said. [Full Article]

    this has been news for a while, and the last rumor i heard is that a russian firm is already working on a kit to convert pax 320s to freighters.
    it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
