    Re: Welcome Back

Was very happy to see this annoucement earlier today. We recently started getting the Republc E-175's at LGA and they seem to be very comfortable aircraft, it should make for a decent product. I am hearing they will probably upgrade to Mainline aircraft and extra sections during race weekends. I briefly worked at DAB in 1982 for short lived DAB based commuter "National Florida" and I fondly remember boarding my Metroliner to MIA on the ramp next to the Piedmont 732 to CLT and LGA !

    Cheers

Re: Daytona Beach: Welcome Back US Airways

Very nice. DAB has a whole new terminal now, but very nice memories. I was told that US Airways was promising by Steve Cooke, Director of Business Development for DAB. I was hoping for PHL as well. I am sure that may still come. US Airways pulled out in 1997 or 1996. It is great to have them on their way back.

They don't have Daytona Beach in their reservations system yet though. Wondering when that will be.
