Cool (I Think) new Aloha Commercial

First of 4 new Aloha commercials featuring their own employees and some 737's to. Personally I really like it !

And if you want to see more Aloha here is a 10 min 60 year tribute video I assume made for their employees, the first section is pretty cool especially if you like Viscounts. Some pretty nice looking FA's as well !

    Enjoy,

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

I noticed that in the ad. Are they still flying the 732?

Actually most of their inter-island flights are still operated by the 732, they have one all cargo version and several are Q/C's like this one

[airlinerstp://www.airliners.net/open.file/1263807/L/[/airlinersthat flies people by day and freight at night.

They also still fly this beauty, repainted last year

it's a shame that the FAA will no longer certify a QC airplane. now all they'll go for is a permanent bulkhead. i guess that new combi 737s are out of the question for Aloha.

Ooh... I like the ad. It gives a sense of how their airline is a family with everyone working together and doing their share. I think their original intended message is well expressed.

Anyone else notice stuttering sound in the ad, though?

New regs that there must be a fixed permanate bulkhead. On QC's it was entirely removeable. That is if memory serves me correct.

I'm amazed that they still operate 732s..those things must have a ton of cycles on them, short hope, quick turns all day long....WOW. Goes to show you the quality of the product and how good MX really does make a long term difference. Same can be said for NWA's DC-9s.
