    JFK Engine Fire

    19:07: JFK FAA TOWER REPORTS THERE IS AN ENGINE FIRE OF A 767 AIRCRAFT THAT IS ALREADY ON THE GROUND...FDNY IS RESPONDING TO LOCATION.... PAPD IS ONSCENE ADVISES THAT THERE IS NO VISIBLE FLAME AT THIS TIME.

    19:14: NO EVACUATION OF PLANE ...PLANE IS BEING RETURNED TO THE TERMINAL....FDNY RESOURCES ARE STAGED BY BUILDING 269..NO REPORT OF INJURIES

    The aircraft was a Maxjet 767-200 after it landed on 13L i believe. I was listening to Live ATC. It was a very short fire as it was put out quickly.
    Aspires to become an Air Traffic Controller at Kennedy Tower.

    ems, do you know which FDNY units responded?
    it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

    No just got the notification. Chances are with a second alarm assignment the first due three engines, 2 ladders, battalion chief, Res4cue, Jamaica Busses, EMS Patrol Boss and SOD bosses.
