Excessive Helicopter Noise On L.I. Meeting

It seems a number of people on L.I. especially out east in Suffolk are tired of what they consider excessive noise from helicopter operations. So tomorrow Chuck Schumer is having a meeting with FAA bosses, major helicopter operators and managers of the East End airports to discuss what to do.

I just love the "I cant hold a conversation" comments because of the loud noise generated. My goodness its not like they are coming over constantly one right after the other. Actually this has
been a busy summer for helo ops out to the East End. Once the weather cools down you will see a
significant drop in flights.
