not good... what airplane was he flying? i remember being tasked with these kind of SAR missions from time to time when i lived in the desert, weren't always succesful. :(
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
God bless and lets continue to hope for the best on this one. If he is lost this would be one more major loss to the world of aviation for the year along with the airshow tragedy's of the year thus so far.
