Today IAD had some nice stuff. Ex United Nations AN-72, Volga Dnepr AN-124 and Eos 757-200 (we don't get them daily like you do at JFK)

I have no idea why it came to IAD. It was on the ground for less than 2 hours. One of our local spotters reports that when they departed they used call sign ENI726. This bird before went to UN was flying for Estonian airline called Enimex. So nobody really knows why it came today :)

Not only tree line is gone, but entire area for new runway and all taxiways are there. In about couple of months they will lay concret for new runway. Also entire lenght of runway 12/30 is visible from D2L5.
A lot have changed since you last visited IAD.
