NYCAviation & PDJ featured in hobby book!

This book was just released last week, and has a section on train and planespotting featuring the one and only Phil Derner, Jr. and NYCAviation! :)

    It's a pretty cool book as a whole...you should check it out: http://www.harpercollins.com/books/9780 ... index.aspx

This was my (and the site's) first appearance in a book, so it's pretty exciting.

The book isn't half bad actually. I found some pretty interesting hobbies which make spotting seems as normal and popular as baseball.

Hey, Dumpster Diving is an awesome hobby. I found a perfectly good 20" monitor that I do all of my image editing on. :D

I agree, Dumpster diving was integral to my college experience.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

haven't had to dive into a dumpster since i left FDNY. definately don't miss it!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Isn't dumpster diving illegal? Maybe out here in Cow-Country. I can't speak for New York City...

Well you do know the difference between an FDNY EMT and a Pizza, right?

Even a Pizza could feed a family of four!
