All the heavy departures were on 22R and all landings 22L, 31L departures were occasional when I was there. With my binoculars, i saw some European departures( Aer Lingus A330, Delta 767-300ER, Finnair MD-11, Gemini Cargo MD-11) with some domestic departures then a few far landings on 22L ( Lufthansa A340-600, Kuwait airways 777, Fed-Ex MD-11)

today we had some great weather.
while we were driving i called LGA ATIS and found out about 4 landings! i first stopped at LGA and took some photos there, but the planes were really back-lit (the sun had a heading of apx 06). here are some from LGA

Then i wanted to catch some 31 landings at JFK. While i was driving i saw a Air China on final. we drove into the first available spot, which was Costco. There i meet Will (winglets747). latter we moved to Firestone.
here are shots form JFK (not in arrival order, but random)

Matt, great shots, nice meeting ya today. Thanks again for making the soda run! I'll post some of my shots tomorrow. It was a long day and I'm too tired now to process them correctly.

It was good to see so many people out today, I guess the almost perfect weather had everyone itching to go shooting. Started out at Howard Beach with Tommy & Josh May for some departure shots:

Headed over to Firestone for arrivals, where we ended up with a big group...

    The highlight of the afternoon!

It was so nice today, even Mario came out to play!

Anyone notice something interesting about this A320? Yes I know its jetBlue's 100th A320 but take a look and tell me its not a touch odd.

The "Blue 100" titles in the front were not there when delivered weeks ago. Those are new.
