    Walk On Water

    Friends,

We just saw a great film and wanted to know if anyone else has seen it.

I was just browsing the foreign film section of the library and took out WALK ON WATER. (an Israeli film but dialogue was mostly in english)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0352994/

I won't give it away if you haven't seen it but has anyone else seen it and what did you think? We loved it.

Oh, and the first 10 minutes feateured an El Al 767 arrival into Israel. Never knew spotting footage existed in Israel.

    Comments or thoughts?
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

LaLechet al HaMayim is a very typical Israeli film. Interesting characters, dry humour, lots of outdoor scenery, and a story that should have ended 3 minutes before it actually did. I enjoyed it very much, though - I saw it in theatres (here in the US) and caught it again on one of the Showtimes or IFC a few months ago.

If you can find it, the movie Ahava M'Mabit HaSheini (Love at Second Sight) features a scene on the tarmac at TLV with an El Al 737.
