My office manager swears there is a 747 at FRG right now. Can anyone confirm or deny? She said it had no commercial titles on it.
EDIT Now she's telling me it was YESTERDAY. Why? It had the letters 747 on it. Doesn't sound right.

And I, I took the path less traveled by

Nothing on Flightaware but Flightaware hasn't been so great recently. It could be helping out Fed Ex?
Maybe they saw a DC-8?, 707?
Are you going to go check it out?
Maybe it was a firebomber and had the numbers 747 on the tail?
Senga
Senga, I had t go back and re-edit the original title. It was seen Thursday, yesterday that is.
I looked at flight aware. my guess is it was the 734. She says it was HUGE but when you are among small private props, I guess a 734 can look HUGE??

Maybe she saw something else then? the BSK departed on the dates above

That is that I'm thinking. She implies "it was huge"
I said, "Sure, it'll look huge next to a Cessna." Then she's estimating there were 40 windows across (take as a grain of salt)
Me: "Was there a bump or a hump on top? Or did the roof look like it was pretty straight across? Perhaps instead of 747 you saw 737-400?"
She: "straight.. maybe you're right wabout hte numbers.....But it was HUGE!"
Senga, we're right ;) I think.

Mario,
I'd put money on the B734, the Isles were travelling to Carolina that day, so it must have been them. I of course was in St. Louis when you called, so it was a little hard for me to see. LOL!!!!
Maybe you can show her a few pix and let her decide
I have a friend who thinks everyplane he sees is a 747.
A320=747
ERJ-170=747
