Does anyone use the Canon S3 IS? I need a new camera, and this is one that I'm interested in. Airliners.net have some nice photos that were taken with the S3 IS. Does anyone know if this camera is generally a good one for plane-spotting?

Well like most once you progess in the hobby you will outgrow a P&S. For a little more money get a budget DSLR and then save and get a decent zoom. In the long run you will be much better off.
