Cool Senga, thanks for that, I did finally see the Etihad when I went for the EK inaugural to HAM, well, at least I saw the tail because she was on the other pier of T4 from where I had to go. Would love to know what the loads are, they are advertising alot but as much as I love Abu Dhabi, it's not Dubai, especially in terms of the demand for seats...

I did get this shot of it at the gate. What an attractive looking plane.

Some one got a really good shot of the Inaugeral flight coming in and yes it got the water cannon. It was on the cover of airport news in the booths for employee bus stops a few weeks ago.

Thanks for that pic, very cool. The pearlescent livery even looks good at night and I have to respect the boys in Abu Dhabi for going with their crest (the dhow and falcon) on the tail as opposed to some meaningless symbol developed by a branding company, that is local pride for you.

On YouTube I recently found an inflight video clip from inside the premium cabin on one of the first JFK flights, looks very nice and less empty than I expected.

Thanks a lot for the shot, I've been dying to see a shot of her at JFK.
