Thanks Ron, it was worth sharing. Nice to see something like this once in a while.

    Haha, I was just thinking...

Any body have a specific terminal they'd like to have an observation deck in?

They're nice folks at Yeager - From the top on down...every one of them, in all departments.

I usually stop by every summer, and they do everything they can to help you out once they know what you're about.

They fight hard for their airport too.... very strategic is defeating the Transpark (aka Trans PORK) that had been planned for Lincoln County and they got to keep the BRAC from eliminating arguably the best, and most ready C-130 National Guard unit.

    Good for Yeager...

I hope they achieve their goals in expanding the airport physically and ultimately allowing it to succeed on a larger scale.

    What a great article. Inspiring.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

CRW is a great 'drome, flew the night mail in there back in the early 90's,PIT-CRW in the holy DC-3, the weather, and the terrain helped create some special memories.
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
