    Jet Fighters Over Shea

    Did anybody else see or hear those 3 jet fighters over Shea Stadium and the US Open on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 1636? Were they part of a 9-11 tribute? What kind of fighters were they? Where did they come from? Will they do a fly-over for today's 9-11 Tribute? They sounded like the Concorde had returned.

    I saw an F-18 taking off from FRG right around that time, so that could have been them, but I'm not positive. Maybe somebody else has more detailed information.
