    United 767 at JFK 8/21

While at JFK yesterday Mario and I were arguing as this was on approach if it was a 757 or 777. To our surprise it was 767 which is rather rare at JFK now. I can't remember the last time I saw one. To my knowledge we only get the 757 and 777?? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

oh dude, I called that as a 767 while it was still over Rockaway.

I call them early based on the wheels.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

    767 does LHR

    Dudes,

The LHR daily trip was downgraded to 767 a while ago--chances are that is what you saw.

    Y'all be good now.

Did that flight come from LHR, I don't remember them changing that flight. I was just out last Sunday and shot two United 777 within 20 minutes and one of them was from LHR.

    Equip Sub for PS?

The flight operated as a 777 yesterday as well-I guess they cancelled it before downgrading it.

The only other logical explanation would be that it was a PS equipment substitution.

My friend is a first officer on UA and flies the 75 and 76. I will ask him when he gets back from vacation next week.

Speaking of vacation, see you guys when I get back!!!

    Best regards,

UAL's schedule still shows 777 service to LHR, and 757 service to LAX and SFO. I'm guessing this must have been a swap.

Gordon Jr reminded me that I caught an image of a UA 767-300 back in Aug 2003 when they were still common at JFK.

Not so... UA956 has been a 777-200 for some time.

The 767-300 operated UA805 on the 18th of August and the 21st of August. The flight originated in LAX. I'm guessing both flights were overbooked PS flights?

On a side note the last time I recall seeing a United 767-300 at JFK was back in March 2004 and it was N653UA sitting at Terminal 7.
