AEC Long Island Aviation Career Fair to Be Held Sept. 28-29

The Aerospace Education Corporation (AEC) is a not-for-profit organization created by the Long Island Business Aviation Association to promote aviation education, particularly as it relates to business aviation. Established in January 2006, AEC will host its first Aviation Career Fair from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on September 28 and 29 at Republic Airport (FRG), Farmingdale, NY. Through an interactive approach that puts students in contact with industry professionals, this event will introduce both middle- and high-school students to the various careers available in the aviation industry. A few sponsorships and exhibition spaces are still available for the event.

**Word is there will be a C130 & HH60 Blackhawk from Gabreski visiting. I'll keep the group updated as I hear more.**

Just got official word that there will be an H-60, C-130, Falcon 900EX, A-star, C-172, and some kind of Piper on display. The person I spoke with told me the H-60 and C-130 were from the cost guard, but Im pretty sure she meant the 106th ANG.
    Shoot first, ask questions later.

Grumman Fan....do we have the same informant?

    From what I saw, there will be a C130 & H60 from Gabreski 106th.
There will probably be a HH60 from the Coast Guard - Cape Cod Station as well as their HH25 - Falcon Jet.
The A-Star is supposedly from News 12, the 900EX a Falcon demonstrator, the C-172 from the FAA.

All are planned to arrive BY 0730 on Thursday, except the Coast Guard which is only scheduled to arrive Friday.

Bring the camera's & Good Luck!
