Atlantic City Airshow - August 23

So is anyone planning on going? I know Scott is...lol. Atlantic City's got a beach show, just like Jones Beach, but the lineup is just out of this world. TWO JET TEAMS - the Blue Angels AND the Thunderbirds, along with F-15E and F-16 demos, a lot of military flybys, and a slew of aerobatic performers.

It's a Wednesday, which is not that unusual (a lot of small Canadian shows are during the week) and is probably the biggest airshow in New Jersey! Admission is free...you can park in any of the casinos and pay whatever they charge (which shouldn't be that much).

I'm heading down on Monday night for the Tuesday practice show as well. I sure hope they get the F-18F back in the lineup again. It went in the tank after the Blues were added.

I'm definitely going to take the day off from work and head down (and have been planning to do so since before they announced they'd have the Blue Angels, too).

F/A-18F won't be there, unless it's in flyby form. I suppose that's what happens when you suddenly get the Blue Angels :-)

I'll be there Scott. Hope this gorgeous weather holds and the hunidity is a bit less than it was 2 years ago. As far as in the air participation Thunder Over The Boardwalk may be the best airshow in the country this year. What a lineup.....
