Teterboro Wings and Wheels show AUG 19 & 20

If you like old old stuff, your gonna love this.

They will have a B-17 that will be doing joy rides, for a fee.

I'll be there, just because its close.

    interesting...

keep us informed. my better half is going to poland for a while, i'll be here all by my lonesome and needing to do something outside of work.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

I'm going to try to get out there one or both of the days; hopefully, I'll have myself moved into a new place enough that I can spare both days to get out!

Considering EAA's Aluminum Overcast is coming to Farmingdale from the 18th-20th it's probably the one.

Love the B&W image, Melanie, really gives a nice feel to the B-17.

Not a bad day, yes, the light was lousy, yes, there weren't too many aircraft on display, but a day out at the airport, hanging with the NYCA folks is never a bad way to spend a nice Saturday.

Front end of the NASA T-38. It took me a minute to figure out why it looked funny - there's no big pitot boom on the nose! I haven't see that before, I don't know when or why they changed this one.
Also, it was an "interesting" conversation with the little CAP kid who was telling people it was an F-5, because that's what somebody told him. Finally I said "I used to fly these, I know what it is, and it's NOT an F-5!"

Moose. You are dead. Those are some of the most UNflattering photos that have ever been taken of me.

    ...on the internet.
