A day in the life of an American B762

I flew on my favorite aircraft type and airline earlier this week and for anyone who loves numbers and equipment cycles you will enjoy the day in the life of the AA B762 N336AA on 7/18/06.

    (Flt. 1) AAL1373 Dep. JFK 07:42ET Arr. MIA 10:40ET
    (Flt. 2) AAL1378 Dep. MIA 11:44ET Arr. JFK 14:36ET
    (Flt. 3) AAL85 Dep. JFK 15:50ET Arr. SFO 18:52PT
    (Flt. 4) AAL18 Dep. SFO 22:00PT Arr. JFK 06:17ET 7/19/06

Another fun fact for AA's summer schedule this is the only equipment cycle for a B762 to MIA and SFO. All other SFO flights from JFK are served by B763's and MIA with a combination of A306's and B752's to JFK.

As of the current future schedule fleet projections for American's winter schedule the B762 will be replaced on the MIA route by a B763.

I hope this is of interest to fellow AA fans and people that love those numbers.

Maybe I missed it somehow, but what is the reason the 762 is your favorite aircraft tipe? why not the 763?

I like the B763 very much as well, and enjoy flying on them. I don't know if I have good reason why I like B762's better I just do.

Another interesting fact relating to my post is the only B762 cycled through MIA normally is this flight from JFK. All other 767 flights on American from MIA are scheduled to be B763's.

Do not know why but I love the AA 767's always have. I consider the 763 more the carrier flagship than the 777 it for whatever reason symbolizes the airline better
Southwest Airlines-"Once it pop's it's time to stop" Southwest Airlines-"Our Shamu's are almost real" Southwest Airlines -"We blow our top real easy" Southwest Airlines- "You can't top us..... really"

One thing is for sure: the 767 is the flag ship of AA, and it looks best with AA scheme. For some reason, the 777 does not.
I flew last year BRU-JFK on an AA 763. Consider me a fan!
